Creators
COLONIZED, for creators.
If you make videos, streams or posts about survival, MMOs, space or indie development, you can join the creators programme of the closed alpha: a place of your own and 10 invitation codes for your audience in every wave you take part in.
Closed alpha: a Steam Playtest by invitation, in small waves on our development server. First waves in winter 2026-2027.
What you get
- A place of your own in every wave you take part in.
- 10 invitation codes per wave. Give them away among your audience (free of charge and under your own rules) or hand them out as you see fit.
- The press kit: verified facts, logos and labelled renders for editorial use.
- A direct line to the team in a private Discord channel.
- If you want it, a mention on this page and on our accounts. There is no payment in either direction.
How the codes work
- 1. You applySend the form below. We read every application and reply from the team address.
- 2. You join a waveEach wave has a limited number of places, so we admit creators in turns. We tell you which wave is yours and when it opens.
- 3. You receive 10 codesOne code reserves one place in that wave. A code is not a Steam key.
- 4. Your audience redeems themWhoever gets a code enters it on the alpha page with their own account. They must be 18 or older and have a Steam account.
- 5. The Steam key arrivesAfter a short review they receive a personal Steam Playtest key in their account. A code works once and expires when its wave closes.
What we ask
- Posting is voluntary: we do not require it. If you do talk about COLONIZED, say it is a collaboration: a clear label at the start of the content (“in collaboration with COLONIZED” or “advertisement”), in the language of your audience, plus your platform’s collaboration or promotional-content tool where it has one.
- Say only what is firm. The closed alpha is a Steam Playtest by invitation; the press kit holds the verified facts. Do not add dates or figures of your own.
- Give codes only to adults. The closed alpha is for people aged 18 and over, and the programme does not suit audiences that are mostly minors.
- Keep any giveaway free of charge: no purchase, payment or subscription to enter, and fewer than 100 codes per giveaway. Never sell, trade or auction codes.
- Run your giveaway under your own rules and the law of your country. You are the organiser, not COLONIZED. Hand the code over privately and never post it in the open.
What we do not ask
That you post anything, a review, a wishlist, a positive opinion or a minimum number of views. What you say about the game is yours, and if something is wrong you can say so.
If the rules are broken
If codes are sold, a collaboration is not declared, codes go to minors or abuse is detected (fake accounts, giveaways with a fee), we withdraw the unused codes and the place, and the collaboration ends. Either side can end it at any time.
Who it is for
Channels and profiles of any size that publish about survival games, MMOs, space or indie development, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German or French. There is no minimum audience. You must be 18 or older.
Questions
Is a code a Steam key?
No. A code reserves a place in a wave. The Steam Playtest key reaches the player, in their account, after a short review.
Do I have to post anything in return?
No. There is no consideration: promotion is voluntary and unpaid. If you decide to talk about COLONIZED, you must label it as a collaboration.
Does my audience pay anything?
No. Taking part in the closed alpha is free of charge.
When does it start?
The first waves are planned for winter 2026-2027. We tell each creator the date of their wave in the programme channel.
Can I show the game?
Yes. The closed alpha is a Steam Playtest, which is not confidential: you can share screenshots, videos and streams under the conduct rules of the alpha terms.
What happens to my data?
We use what you write in the form only to answer you and run the programme, for up to 12 months after it ends, and we delete it when you ask. Whoever redeems one of your codes does not tell you who they are and you do not see it. See the privacy policy.
The programme terms (v0.2) come with your invitation and cover all of this in full; this page is a summary and, if they differ, the terms prevail. This is not legal advice: each creator is responsible for their own posts and giveaways.
