Dossier

A heavy fighter with a home inside.

The first XASTER you can live in: a heavy fighter with a bunk, a shower, an armoury and a hold behind a 2.10 m rear ramp.

Dossier

The M is the first XASTER you can live in: a bunk, a wet cell with a shower, an armoury and a hold behind a 2.10 m ramp-door.

From the outside it is not one volume. A central hull is flanked by two side bodies that are born sharp beside the cockpit, open out toward the stern and flow into the engines. Fusion surfaces tie them together with exposed channels and ducts, and the stern is a sculpted transom: large engines, condensers and a hexagonal door under its visor.

You walk up the ramp, at 28 degrees, straight into the hold. Then the cabin: a 2.00 × 0.95 m bunk in its own alcove; a wet cell with shower, washbasin and toilet, sized for a 1.85 m occupant; a locker; and an armoury for two rifles and two pistols. At the far end, the standing station and the panoramic cockpit.

Two S2 railguns on the wings and an S3 laser cannon on the spine.

House and pattern

Every M carries the house's homologation: the MMU (Matriz de Manufactura Unificada) builds the chassis, and William's answers for the drawing on top of it — the hull, the panoramic cockpit and the cabin that lets one pilot live aboard, from the bunk alcove to the wet cell.

Strengths

  • A home inside a heavy fighter: bunk in its alcove, wet cell with shower, washbasin and toilet, locker and armoury for two rifles and two pistols.
  • Rear ramp-door: 2.10 m wide at 28°, with telescopic tongue and visor, straight into the hold.
  • Mixed armament: two Horquilla railgun repeaters (S2) to break armour and a Faro laser cannon (S3) on the spine to strip shields.
  • Missiles: four S2 missiles per salvo, sixteen in reserve.
  • Panoramic view: a fixed panoramic canopy with 15.1° of vision over the nose, the best in the family.

Role in the fleet

The M shares one idea with the Starhopper — living aboard — and turns it the other way: the Starhopper explores, the M fights. Next to a Tortuga it is much smaller, with far less cargo and far more firepower.

Within the family

The M is the S with a two-metre module, widened with side bodies: 14.88 m overall against 12.48 m, 22 t against 15 t in combat trim, and a third weapon on the spine. It is the bridge between the fighters (X and S) and the patrol ships (L and XL): the last XASTER that flies like a fighter first, and the first with a home inside. The L takes it further, in the beam.

Closed alpha

The hangar is open.

The first closed alpha wave lands in winter 2026-2027 and applications are open now. Apply for your key: the pilots who get in help shape what comes next.

The ships in this hangar are still in development. What each alpha wave includes will be announced in the alpha notes.
